What ink does a latex printer use?

Latex printers use water-based ink with latex polymers. To support high quality and durable prints, this ink is light-fade resistant and scratch resistant. They are also non-flammable, non-combustible, contain zero hazardous air pollutants and do not require special ventilation.

How fast is a latex printer?

Speed will vary between models, however as a reference, the HP Latex 3600 can print high quality at speeds of 77m² per hour (830 ft² per hour). In addition to print speed, latex ink is quick to dry and ready-for-use straight off the output tray allowing for same-day project turnaround.
